Britney possibly touring Australia in September

Dates leaked and then removed on the Live Nation promoter website included an Australian leg of Britney Spears' tour 'The Circus: Starring Britney Spears'. Spears is slated to perform three shows at the Acer Arena in Sydney, right next door to the ANZ stadium where friend Madonna has been pencilled in for a show also.

Although the fact that the two being in the country at the same time fuels speculation of a possible cameo appearance at either show, it's unlikely that their schedules would allow it.

The current economic situation means that promoters are offering big bucks for the US's biggest stars to consider coming down under, but it also means that tickets are expected to be between $150-600. Start saving guys, Britney might be coming sooner than we thought!

Like Ive said before, I have a little ticketing circle with friends of mine who want tickets IF THE TOUR GOES AHEAD
I'll discuss more if dates become confirmed.

From experience, they do not send emails out with photos and new information for waitlisted artists unless theres a good chance they are coming.
They sent out an email similar to this when Madonna's tour was confirmed for Australia but then it was removed once talks stopped.
